Description: The primary responsibility of this position is Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) of analytical chemistry measurements relative to internal standards. The supervisor will lead a team of analysts and technicians in bench work and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). This position requires a strong technical ability to identify QA/QC issues and effectively manage QA documentation, as well as performing analyses on the bench. The Laboratory Supervisor works with the Laboratory Manager to fix and validate existing methods and to upgrade internal database systems prior to each winemaking season.
