"Clone 809 is a Muscat flavoured Chardonnay clone developed by ENTAV-INRA®. "In France this clone is highly regarded and imparts lifted floral characters to the wine and could well make a valuable contribution to un-wooded chardonnay blends from both cool and warm climates." I would like to know whether this is a replacement or equivalent to the Sees clone which used to be used to make some of the better Peter Michael wines in Califoria. This is a clone sold in Australia. Seee www.yalumbannursery.com. | |
